The download of free trial for city of heroes is not exactly the simplest or easiest thing: Here are all the steps required to guide you through:

1) Download This file : City of heroes 14 day free trial

2) Unzip the cohupdater.zip to any convenient location and double click cohupdater.exe to install it.

Directions for new players:

In order to play City of Heroes , you must first have a PlayNC master account and then a City of Heroes game account under that master account. If you are an existing PlayNC customer and want to create a new game account, you can skip directly down to the “To Add a City of Heroes Game Account ONLY” directions below).

To Create a PlayNC Master Account and City of Heroes Game Account Together:

1. Visit the Create PlayNC Account page
2. Follow all the directions provided until your PlayNC master account is successfully created.
3. Upon completion of your master account, click on the ADD GAMES TO YOUR PlayNC ACCOUNT now! link in the middle of the page
4. Enter the serial code provided on your 14 Day Free Trial Card for 14 FREE days of game play and then hit the CONTINUE button
5. Provide all requested information until you have successfully created a City of Heroes game account!

To Add a City of Heroes Game Account ONLY:

1. Visit the Add Game page
2. Enter information to log into your current PlayNC master account
3. Enter the serial code provided on your 14 Day Free Trial Card for 14 FREE days of game play and then hit the CONTINUE button
4. Provide all requested information until you have successfully created a City of Heroes game account!
